4. Speech-Language Consultations

Consultations are designed to match the needs of a family, school (public or private), or school district. It may take the form of any of the following:

  • Observation of a school program, with or without the individual present, to look at classroom design, embedding social skills, data systems, etc.

  • Review of and/or creation of IEP objectives

  • Consultation to school districts about programming for autistic students 

  • Consultation to an educational team re: progress, goals, or strategies

  • Attendance at an IEP or other team meeting
